Autumn
Harvest and the beginning of the hunting season.
In October, when the waters are getting cooler, the shellfish season starts. Berries, root vegetables and the rest of the summer´s crop are cured, pickled and preserved for the colder winter months.
Autumn is the market season when farmers come to town to sell their produce and harvest is celebrated with festivals all over the Nordic region.
